What was unique about this job was the use of natural materials in different textures across all rooms of the home. All aspects of this project were completely custom made, including many, if not most components of the joinery package being hand made.
As opposed to using timber veneer which is more common, the clients decided they wanted the solid timber option. All doors and panels were made out of solid timber flooring that was stacked together to create the panels. This proved itself to be a challenging and extensive process as the 12mm timber floor panels had to be grain matched so that all joining panels had a matching woodgrain.
Although demanding, this project was beyond rewarding as it allowed us to create outside the box and see a client’s vision and concept come to life through our skills and ability. This project is the definition of bespoke joinery.
